“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
Instead of investigating the shooting on six Coptic Christians, the Egyptian government has decided to arrest activists paying their condolences to the victims’ families. It appears that the Egyptian government has taken a page out of Pat Robertson’s school of sympathy. Who knows? Maybe these Coptic Christians signed a pact with the Devil too.
Justice has escaped the victims and their families, and now it appears that justice is going to escape the people showing their support to the victims as well unless Egypt releases the activists and conducts an investigation to bring the shooters to justice.
Martin Luther King, Jr. was a strong advocate for civil rights who supported equal rights for all regardless of skin color. The Egyptian government can learn a lot from his work.
