Respect Women

Today is International Women’s Day; a day to champion the rights of women. After all, they are our mothers who raise us, our wives who give us support and our sisters who help us in our time of need.

There was once a time when women could not vote in the United States, until they gained voting rights through suffrage.

In many parts of the world, women are still second class citizens within their own countries. Unfortunately, stories like this one and this one and this one take place every day.

We should all work together and see if we can realize women’s rights universally.
