A Turkey Doodle

Today is Thanksgiving in the United States, which means many people will be stuffing their faces with turkey, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie, then settling back to slumber before watching football games and/or preparing to head out to do battle with others on Black Friday–or Black Thursday for those people visiting stores that have decided to open on Thanksgiving and cut short their employees’ holiday.

Google has been in the Thanksgiving spirit for the last few days. If you visit the search giant’s website, there is a Google doodle of a turkey that you can customize. By clicking on the turkey’s head and/or feathers, you can change the headgear it’s wearing or the color/design of its feathers. If you want to be surprised, you can simply click on its wing which will randomly generate the headgear and feathers for you. Here is the one I made this morning.

Happy Thanksgiving!
