I went to a cat cafe called Cat & Craft near my place the other day. What surprised me the most was that there is a cat cafe near my place. I found out about Cat & Craft through one of my Meetup groups because an event was held there recently. The cat cafe consists of two rooms that are partitioned by glass; a traditional cafe and an adjacent room called the cat lounge that has the actual cats.

You can order yourself a drink in the cafe, then enjoy it at one of the tables alone or with your friends. However, if you would like the company of furry friends, you need to make a reservation 24 hours prior to your visit and pay $12 to spend an hour with some adorable foster cats that are up for adoption.

During my visit, I ordered myself a delicious iced salted caramel latte. It was extra tasty because it was very warm that day.

I didn’t go into the cat lounge, but it’s something I plan to do in the near future because I would like to support the cafe’s mission statement:
To positively impact cat rescue and adoptions through the creation of a fun, safe and loving environment that promotes authentic connections between people and the rescue cats we foster.

If you would like to check out Cat & Craft, please visit the cafe’s website for the address and hours of operation.
